西柏坡精神

西柏坡原是中国河北省一个普通的小山村。但在1948年5月至1949年3月间，这里成为了当时中国革命的领导中心，成为人民解放军的最高统帅部。从这里，中国共产党走出深山，走向全国胜利，完成了中华人民共和国的创建。正是在这样一个特殊而又重要的历史转折时期，中国共产党形成了西柏坡精神。这一精神是毛泽东在西柏坡召开的中共七届二中全会上提出的，主要内涵包括：谦虚谨慎、艰苦奋斗；敢于斗争、敢于胜利；依靠群众、团结统一。

The spirit of Xibaipo

Xibaipo is a small village in the mountains in Hebei Province. From May 1948 to March 1949, it served as the center of the leadership of the revolution and the supreme command headquarters of the Communist-led People’s Liberation Army. From there the CPC emerged from the mountains to win ultimate victory and then found the People’s Republic. This historic sequence of events gave rise to the “Xibaipo spirit.”

The spirit of Xibaipo was defined by Mao Zedong at the Second Plenary Session of the Seventh CPC Central Committee, held in the village in April 1949, the gist of which is “to remain modest and prudent, struggle on tirelessly, and rely on the people to attain solidarity and unity.”
