维护新型安全领域利益
新型安全领域,是相对于传统领域而言、引领时代潮流的新兴安全空间,具有鲜明的时代特征,主要包括太空、网络、人工智能、生物等领域,是当前科学技术发展应用最活跃的新领域,是人类未来生存发展的新领域,是维护国家安全的新领域。维护新型安全领域利益,应秉持共同开发、共同利用、共同管理的基本政策,坚持创新、协调、绿色、开放、共享的发展理念,加快推进新型领域安全能力建设,为维护国家安全利益、和平利用新型领域提供重要支撑。近年来,中国积极参与新型领域的国际安全治理,为造福人类作出了重要贡献。
Protection of National Interests in the New Domains
New security domains are the areas entailing emerging security concerns, such as space, internet, AI, and biotechnology. They are distinguishable from traditional security areas and represent the development of security issues in our time. While they are the most dynamic areas of technological development on which humanity’s future depends, efforts must be made to ward off and counter the potential threats to national security. It is essential in this respect to join global efforts for shared development, use, and management of technologies in the new security domains.
Guided by a vision for development that benefits all and emphasizes innovation, coordination, environmental protection, and openness, China will continue to build capacity in new and emerging areas to protect its national interests from any potential threat and support peaceful use of new technologies.
China’s active participation in global security governance in the new domains in recent years has contributed significantly to the wellbeing of humanity.
