中国特色社会主义军事制度

2017年10月18日,习近平在中国共产党第十九次全国代表大会的报告中提出,完善和发展中国特色社会主义军事制度。中国特色社会主义军事制度,是中国共产党为巩固党的执政地位和完善社会主义制度、维护国家安全和发展利益、促进世界和平与发展而确立的军事力量建设和运用规则体系,基本功能是调节军事关系、规范军事实践、保障军事发展,对国防和军队建设具有根本性、全局性、基础性作用。中国特色社会主义军事制度,是中国特色社会主义制度的重要组成部分,是中国共产党把马克思主义军事理论与中国军事实践相结合的伟大创新,是实现党在新时代的强军目标、全面建成世界一流军队的根本制度保障。

The Military System with Chinese Features

In his report to the 19th CPC National Congress, Xi Jinping called for developing and improving a military system with Chinese features, which is a system of institutions ensuring the CPC’s position as the ruling party and its mission to improve the socialist system, protect national security and development interests, and promote world peace and development. The system guides the development and employment of the armed forces, and plays a fundamental and all-encompassing role in strengthening national defense and the military. An important component of China’s socialist system, this system is a product of innovative application by the CPC of Marxist military theory to China’s realities. At the institutional level it provides essential support for achieving the Party’s goal of building a world-class military in the new era.
