培养“四有”新时代革命军人
2014年10月,习近平在古田全军政治工作会议上提出,要适应强军目标要求,把握新形势下铸魂育人的特点和规律,着力培养有灵魂、有本事、有血性、有品德的新一代革命军人。有灵魂就是要信念坚定、听党指挥,有本事就是要素质过硬、能打胜仗,有血性就是要英勇顽强、不怕牺牲,有品德就是要情趣高尚、品行端正。这深刻回答了强国强军需要什么样的军人、怎样培养新时代革命军人的重大问题。
Revolutionary Officers and Soldiers of the New Era with Faith, Ability, Courage, and Integrity
Addressing the Military Political Work Conference in Gutian, Xi Jinping called for training officers and soldiers of the new era with faith, ability, courage, and integrity, bearing in mind our goal of building a strong military and personnel development challenges under new conditions. The members of this force are expected to show an unwavering commitment to the Party’s cause and obey the Party’s orders, be well-trained and able to fight and win tough wars, display the courage to confront any danger, and have moral integrity.
These are the qualities we are trying to reinforce in our service members who will be a pillar in our effort to build a strong country and a strong military.
