中非合作论坛
在中非双方共同倡议下，中非合作论坛首届部长级会议于2000年10月在北京召开，中非合作论坛正式成立。论坛成员包括中国、53个同中国建交的非洲国家、非洲联盟委员会共55个成员。论坛迄今已举行3次峰会（2006年11月北京峰会、2015年12月约翰内斯堡峰会、2018年9月北京峰会）、7届部长级会议，制定了一系列重要的纲领性合作文件，推动实施了一系列支持非洲发展、深化中非友好互利合作的重大举措，取得丰硕成果。
习近平在2018年中非合作论坛北京峰会上全面阐述了“真、实、亲、诚”理念和正确义利观，明确了构建更加紧密的中非命运共同体的时代内涵、发展方向和前进路径， 并提出了重点实施产业促进、设施联通、贸易便利、绿色发展、能力建设、健康卫生、人文交流、和平安全“八大行动”。
经过20多年的发展，论坛已成为中非开展集体对话的重要平台和务实合作的有效机制，成为新时代引领国际对非合作的一面旗帜。在中非合作论坛引领下，中非高层互动日益频繁，政治互信持续深化，中非关系完成了“新型伙伴关系”“新型战略伙伴关系”“全面战略合作伙伴关系”三级跳。
Forum on China-Africa Cooperation
At the joint proposing of China and Africa, the first ministerial meeting of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) was held in Beijing in October 2000, inaugurating the forum. The forum's 55 members are China, the 53 African countries that have established diplomatic relations with China, and the African Union Commission. To date, three summits (the Beijing Summit in November 2006, the Johannesburg Summit in December 2015, and the Beijing Summit in September 2018) and seven ministerial meetings have convened. They have yielded rich results by formulating a series of important programmatic cooperation documents, promoting the implementation of a series of major measures to support Africa's development, and deepening friendly and mutually beneficial China-Africa cooperation.
At the Beijing Summit in 2018, President Xi comprehensively expounded on sincerity, real results, amity and good faith, and the principles of pursuing the greater good and shared interests. The summit clarified the heart of building a closer China-Africa community of shared future and charted a development direction and path. It also adopted eight major initiatives covering the fields of industrial promotion, infrastructure connectivity, trade facilitation, green development, capacity building, healthcare, people-to-people exchange, and peace and security.
After more than 20 years of development, the forum has become an important platform for China-Africa dialogue, an effective mechanism for practical cooperation, and a bellwether for international cooperation with Africa in the new era. Largely driven by the forum, high-level interaction between China and Africa has become increasingly frequent, and political mutual trust has continued to deepen. China-Africa relations have been elevated from "a new type of partnership," to "a new type of strategic partnership" and then to "a China-Africa comprehensive strategic and cooperative partnership."
