全国人民代表大会常务委员会

全国人民代表大会常务委员会是全国人民代表大会常设机关，对全国人民代表大会负责并报告工作。全国人民代表大会常务委员会每届任期同全国人民代表大会每届任期相同。

全国人民代表大会常务委员会的人员组成包括：委员长，副委员长若干人，秘书长，委员若干人。常务委员会的组成人员由全国人民代表大会从代表中选出。

全国人民代表大会常务委员会设立办公厅，在秘书长领导下工作。常务委员会设副秘书长若干人，由委员长提请常务委员会任免。常务委员会设立法制工作委员会、预算工作委员会和其他需要设立的工作委员会。

Standing Committee of the NPC

The NPC has a Standing Committee as its permanent body, which is responsible to the NPC and reports on its work to the NPC. The Standing Committee is elected for the same term as the NPC.

The Standing Committee is composed of a chairperson, vice chairpersons, a secretary-general, and other members. They are elected by the NPC deputies from among themselves.

The Standing Committee has a general office that operates under the secretary-general. It also has several deputy secretary-generals, who are appointed or removed by the Standing Committee at the recommendation of the chairperson. The Standing Committee has under its authority a legislative affairs commission, a budgetary commission, and other committees set up as required.
