加强能力提升
推进中国式现代化，是一项前无古人的开创性事业，必然会遇到各种可以预料和难以预料的风险挑战、艰难险阻甚至惊涛骇浪。在此过程中，要加强能力提升。广大干部特别是年轻干部要经受严格的思想淬炼、政治历练、实践锻炼、专业训练，在复杂严峻的斗争中经风雨、见世面、壮筋骨、长才干，提高政治能力、调查研究能力、科学决策能力、改革攻坚能力、应急处突能力、群众工作能力、抓落实能力，勇于直面问题，想干事、能干事、干成事，不断解决问题、破解难题。只有积极克服“本领恐慌”，塑造“七种能力”，才能以过硬的政治素质、优秀的专业能力更好地担负起组织和人民赋予的历史重任，开创新时代中国式现代化建设事业新局面。
Increasing capabilities
Chinese modernization is an unprecedented and pioneering endeavor, and it is inevitable that China will face both foreseeable and unforeseeable risks, challenges, difficulties, and obstacles. To handle all these, one must possess strong capabilities. Officials, young officials in particular, must conduct strict theoretical and political studies, be tempered by practice, and take professional training. In dealing with complex and severe challenges, they will gain experience, broaden their horizons, and increase their abilities to handle political affairs, conduct research, make decisions, carry out reform, respond to emergencies, mobilize the people, and ensure successful implementation. They will become confident as they confront problems head-on and are eager and able to fulfill tasks and tackle challenges.
They must be motivated by confidence in success rather than fear of failure, live up to the historic mission entrusted to them by the Party and the nation with their strong political caliber and professional performance, and break new ground in advancing Chinese modernization in the new era.
