处理好守正与创新的关系
守正创新是中国共产党在新时代治国理政的重要思想方法。守正才能不迷失方向、不犯颠覆性错误，创新才能把握时代、引领时代。
中国式现代化的探索就是一个在继承中发展、在守正中创新的历史过程。在推进中国式现代化新征程上，首先要毫不动摇坚持中国式现代化的中国特色、本质要求和重大原则，坚持中国共产党的基本理论、基本路线、基本方略，坚持中共十八大以来的一系列重大方针政策，确保中国式现代化的正确方向。同时，要把创新摆在国家发展全局的突出位置，顺应时代发展要求，着眼于解决重大理论和实践问题，积极识变应变求变，大力推进理论创新、实践创新、制度创新、文化创新以及其他各方面创新，不断开辟发展新领域新赛道，塑造发展新动能新优势。

Upholding fundamental principles and breaking new ground are important for the CPC's governance in the new era. Only by upholding fundamental principles can the Party avoid losing its way or making serious mistakes. Only by breaking new ground can it respond to the call of the day and shape the trends of the times.
Chinese modernization is a historic process, basing development on previous achievements and breaking new ground while upholding fundamental principles. China will retain the distinctive features of its modernization, comply with the essential requirements, apply the major principles, and uphold the CPC's basic theory, guideline, and policy, and the major guiding principles and policies formulated since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012, so as to ensure that modernization moves in the right direction.
At the same time, it will prioritize innovation throughout the process of development, follow the trends of the times, tackle major problems in theory and practice, proactively identify, respond to, and steer changes, and encourage innovation in theory, practice, institutions, culture, and other sectors. This will help create new fields and new arenas in development and develop new growth drivers and new strengths.
