社会保持长期稳定

社会稳定是国家强盛的前提。社会稳定对国家命运和人民利益至关重要，为全面建成社会主义现代化强国而团结奋斗尤其需要安全稳定的社会环境。中共二十大报告将“社会保持长期稳定”列入2035年中国发展的总体目标，并作了重要部署。

社会保持长期稳定为中国人民在中国共产党的领导下，一心一意谋发展，聚精会神搞建设，物质财富不断积累，生活水平普遍改善，推进经济社会迈上新台阶，成为全球第二大经济体，提供了非常有利的社会条件。要保持社会长期稳定，必须坚定不移走自己的道路；必须坚持人民至上，不断改善人民生活水平；必须从严防控风险，营造安全的内外环境。与此同时，必须不断提升党维护社会长期稳定的领导力，必须着力推进社会治理能力现代化，必须正确认识和处理改革发展稳定的关系，必须积极践行以人民为中心的发展思想。

Achieving long-term social stability

Social stability is vital to a strong country. It is of vital importance to a nation's future and interests. A stable social environment is essential in building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects. The report to the 20th CPC National Congress set "achieving long-term social stability" as one of China's overall development objectives for the year 2035.

Long-term social stability under the CPC's leadership has provided conditions for the Chinese nation to concentrate on development, accumulate material wealth, improve lives, and advance economic and social development, which has led to China becoming the world's second largest economy.

To maintain long-term social stability, China must follow its own path, place the people above all else, constantly improve their wellbeing, prevent and control risks, and foster safe internal and external environments. It must also strengthen the Party's leadership in order to maintain long-term social stability, modernize social governance, correctly understand and properly handle the relations between reform, development, and stability, and apply the people-centered development philosophy.
