中等收入群体比重明显提高

中共二十大报告提出，到2035年要实现“中等收入群体比重明显提高”。中等收入群体一般指收入保持在全社会中等水平、就业相对稳定、生活相对宽裕的群体。着力扩大中等收入群体比重，扩大中等收入群体规模是实现共同富裕的重要手段，对中国经济社会持续健康发展具有重要意义。中国共产党坚持把实现人民对美好生活的向往作为现代化建设的出发点和落脚点，着力维护和促进社会公平正义，着力促进全体人民共同富裕，坚决防止两极分化。扩大中等收入群体规模，有助于释放该群体的巨大消费潜力，发挥消费对经济循环的牵引带动作用，推动经济高质量发展，加快构建新发展格局，扎实推进共同富裕。

Expanding the middle-income group

The report to the 20th CPC National Congress announced that the middle-income group as a proportion of the total population would substantially expand by the year 2035.

The middle-income group is a term for the population with an income of middle level, stable employment, and relatively comfortable life. To increase the proportion of the middle-income group in the entire population is a way to achieve common prosperity, a significant contributor to sound and sustainable economic and social development.

Meeting the people's aspirations for a better life is the ultimate goal of Chinese modernization drive. To prevent polarization, the CPC has worked to safeguard and promote social fairness and justice and achieve common prosperity for the people. Expanding the size of the middle-income group will help unleash huge consumption potential, leverage the contribution of consumption to economic flows, promote high-quality economic development, accelerate the fostering of a new development dynamic, and achieve solid progress in building common prosperity.
