基本实现农业现代化
中共二十大报告强调要加快建设农业强国，并明确到2035年基本实现农业现代化的目标。这是中共中央着眼全面建成社会主义现代化强国作出的战略部署，是新时代新征程中国共产党做好“三农”工作的重要方向。
没有农业强国就没有整个现代化强国，没有农业农村现代化，社会主义现代化就是不全面的。满足人民美好生活需要、实现高质量发展、夯实国家安全基础，都离不开农业发展。实现农业现代化这一战略部署遵循了农业现代化一般规律，用现代科学、技术和工业装备农业，用现代经济科学管理农业，建设供给保障强、科技装备强、经营体系强、产业韧性强、竞争能力强的农业强国；是立足中国国情，立足人多地少的资源禀赋、农耕文明的历史底蕴、人与自然和谐共生的时代要求而作出的重要部署。
Basically achieving agricultural modernization
Basically achieving agricultural modernization by the year 2035 was set as a goal in the report to the 20th CPC National Congress, together with the decision to accelerate the buildup of China's strength in agriculture. This is a strategic plan by the CPC Central Committee with a view to the effort to build China into a great modern socialist country in all respects. It is also part of the Party's effort related to agriculture, rural areas, and rural residents on the new journey ahead.
China can hardly become a great modern country without a strong agriculture, and socialist modernization cannot be achieved without the modernization of agriculture and rural areas. Meeting the people's needs for a better life, achieving high-quality development, and consolidating the foundation of national security all rely on agricultural development.
This strategic plan respects the general norms applying to agricultural modernization. It supports boosting agriculture with modern science, technology, and industry and managing agriculture with modern economics, in order to build up China's agricultural strength backed by ample supply, state-of-the-art technical equipment, effective business operation systems, great industrial resilience, and strong competitiveness. It is a plan that takes into consideration China's huge population but limited arable land, long history of agriculture, and pursuit of harmony between humanity and nature.
