建成现代化经济体系
中共十九大提出，中国经济已由高速增长阶段转向高质量发展阶段，正处在转变发展方式、优化经济结构、转换增长动力的攻关期，建设现代化经济体系是跨越关口的迫切要求和中国发展的战略目标。
建设现代化经济体系，必须因地制宜发展新质生产力，把发展经济的着力点放在实体经济上，把提高供给体系质量作为主攻方向，显著增强中国经济质量优势。必须坚持质量第一、效益优先，以供给侧结构性改革为主线，推动经济发展质量变革、效率变革、动力变革，提高全要素生产率，着力加快建设实体经济、科技创新、现代金融、人力资源协同发展的产业体系，着力构建市场机制有效、微观主体有活力、宏观调控有度的经济体制，不断增强中国经济创新力和竞争力。
Building a modernized economy
The report to the 19th CPC National Congress stated, "China's economy has been transitioning from a phase of rapid growth to a stage of high-quality development. This is a pivotal stage for transforming our growth model, improving our economic structure, and fostering new drivers of growth. It is imperative that we develop a modernized economy. This is both an urgent requirement for getting us smoothly through this critical transition and a strategic goal for China's development."
To develop a modernized economy and increase its economic strength, China will foster new quality productive forces suited to local conditions, focus on the real economy, and improve the supply system. It needs to put quality first and prioritize benefits. Taking supply-side structural reform as the main theme, it will improve the quality, efficiency, and drivers of economic growth, increase total factor productivity, and build an industrial system with coordination among the real economy, scientific and technological innovation, modern finance, and human capital and an economic system with an effective market mechanism, vigorous micro entities, and moderate macro control, in order to constantly enhance the innovativeness and competitiveness of its economy.
