两个百年奋斗目标
两个百年奋斗目标，即在中国共产党成立100年时全面建成小康社会，在中华人民共和国成立100年时建成富强民主文明和谐美丽的社会主义现代化强国。
改革开放以来，中国共产党团结带领人民实施了大规模、有计划、有组织的扶贫开发，着力解放和发展社会生产力，着力保障和改善民生。中共十八大以来，中共中央把脱贫攻坚摆在治国理政的突出位置，把脱贫攻坚作为全面建成小康社会的底线任务，组织开展了声势浩大的脱贫攻坚人民战争，攻克了一个又一个贫中之贫、坚中之坚。2021年，在庆祝中国共产党成立100周年大会上，习近平总书记代表党和人民庄严宣告，经过全党全国各族人民持续奋斗，我们实现了第一个百年奋斗目标，在中华大地上全面建成了小康社会，历史性地解决了绝对贫困问题。
中共二十大提出，从现在起，中国共产党的中心任务就是团结带领全国各族人民全面建成社会主义现代化强国、实现第二个百年奋斗目标，以中国式现代化全面推进中华民族伟大复兴。
Two Centenary Goals
The Two Centenary Goals are: to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects by the centenary of the CPC in 2021, and to build China into a great modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious, and beautiful by the centenary of the PRC in 2049.
Since the late 1970s, the CPC has led the people in launching large-scale, well-planned, and well-organized campaigns to eliminate poverty, unleash and develop the productive forces, and ensure and improve the people's wellbeing. Since 2012, the Party's Central Committee has prioritized poverty elimination in national governance, making it a vital task in completing the building of a society with moderate prosperity in all respects. To this end, an all-out war against poverty was waged, and the thorniest problems were tackled one after another.
In July 2021, at the ceremony marking the Party's centenary, Xi Jinping declared on behalf of the Party and the people: "Through the continued efforts of the whole Party and the entire nation, we have realized the First Centenary Goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. This means that we have brought about a historic resolution to the problem of absolute poverty in China."
The 20th CPC National Congress announced, "From this day forward, the central task of the Communist Party of China will be to lead the Chinese people of all ethnic groups in a concerted effort to realize the Second Centenary Goal of building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects and to advance the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through a Chinese path to modernization."
