习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想
中共十八大以来，以习近平同志为主要代表的中国共产党人，坚持把马克思主义基本原理同中国具体实际相结合、同中华优秀传统文化相结合，科学回答了新时代坚持和发展什么样的中国特色社会主义、怎样坚持和发展中国特色社会主义等重大时代课题，创立了习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想。
习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想内涵十分丰富，包括新时代坚持和发展中国特色社会主义的总目标、总任务、总体布局、战略布局和发展方向、发展方式、发展动力、战略步骤、外部条件、政治保证等基本问题，并根据新的实践对经济、政治、法治、科技、文化、教育、民生、民族、宗教、社会、生态文明、国家安全、国防和军队、“一国两制”和祖国统一、统一战线、外交、党的建设等各方面作出理论分析和政策指导。习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的核心要义是坚持和发展中国特色社会主义，主要内容是中共十九大、中共十九届六中全会提出的“十个明确”“十四个坚持”“十三个方面成就”。中共二十大报告提出的“六个必须坚持”，阐述了这一重大思想的世界观、方法论和贯穿其中的立场观点方法。

Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era
Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC in 2012, the Party, with Xi Jinping at the core of the central leadership, has continued to integrate the basic tenets of Marxism with China's current realities and the best of its traditional culture, answered a series of major questions concerning socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and established Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
The Thought communicates the overarching objective, task, plan, and strategy for upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. It defines the strategic steps, model, external conditions, direction, and driving forces required for China's development and provides necessary political guarantee. It offers theoretical analysis and policy guidance across a wide range of fields: the economy, politics, the rule of law, science and technology, culture, education, wellbeing, ethnic affairs, religions, society, the eco-environment, national security, national defense and the military, One Country, Two Systems and national reunification, the united front, foreign affairs, and Party development.
The core idea of the Thought is upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics, and its main elements are summarized in the 10 affirmations, the 14 commitments, and the 13 areas of achievement that were articulated at the 19th CPC National Congress in October 2017 and the sixth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee in November 2021. The report to the 20th CPC National Congress stated that the Party must put the people first, maintain self-confidence and stand on its own feet, uphold fundamental principles and break new ground, adopt a problem-oriented approach, apply systems thinking, and maintain a global vision. These explain the worldview, methodology, and stances embodied in the Thought.
The Thought manifests Marxism of contemporary China and the 21st century. It embodies the best of traditional Chinese culture and ethos of our times and represents a new breakthrough in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times.
