“欢乐春节”活动
“欢乐春节”活动是中国文化和旅游部会同国家相关部委、各地文化团体和驻外机构在海外共同推出的大型文化交流活动，旨在与各国人民共贺传统佳节，共享中华文化，共建和谐美好世界。“欢乐春节”活动自2001年起开始举办，现已覆盖全球100多个国家和地区，为各国人民共享中华文化、促进民心相通提供了重要平台。
春节凝结着中华文明的精神标识和文化精髓，承载着中华民族集体记忆和家国情怀，蕴含着辞旧迎新、团圆幸福、和谐安宁等丰富文化内涵。随着海外传播范围的日趋扩大，春节已成为世界普遍接受、认同和欣赏的中华文化符号。如今，春节不仅成为联合国假日，还被列入联合国教科文组织人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录，全球约有五分之一人口以不同形式欢庆这一节日。“欢乐春节”活动秉承“欢乐、和谐、共享、对话”的理念，将中国人民期盼家庭团圆、生活富足、万象更新的美好向往带到世界各地，弘扬和传播了中国传统节庆文化，也使古老的春节在全球化背景下焕发出新活力。
Happy Chinese New Year celebrations
The Happy Chinese New Year celebrations worldwide are organized by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, with the support of relevant ministries, local cultural groups, and diplomatic missions overseas, to bring the local people together in experiencing this traditional festival and enjoying the Chinese culture in a world of harmony.
Similar celebrations have been held annually since 2001, expanding into more than 100 countries and regions and helping more people get to know China's culture and better understand its people.
The Chinese New Year is a symbol of the Chinese civilization and culture. It embodies the collective memories of the Chinese people and their profound love for family and country. It is a time to bid farewell to the old and usher in the new, a time of happy family reunion, and a time to enjoy harmony and peace. Today, the Chinese New Year is embraced around the world as a hallmark of the Chinese culture. In addition to becoming a floating holiday in the UN, this traditional festival has been recognized by UNESCO as an item of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It is celebrated by about one fifth of the world's population.
Valuing happiness, harmony, sharing, and dialogue, the festive atmosphere of the Happy Chinese New Year celebrations communicates to the world the Chinese people's aspirations for family reunion, an affluent life, and a fresh start for all. As globalization results in more and more people joining in the celebrations, this age-old festival is increasing its timeless appeal.
