世界古典学大会

世界古典学大会是全球古典学领域的重要学术盛会，旨在从古典文明的研究视域出发，回溯人类思想之源、总结人类历史智慧、发掘人类文明传统，为加强文明交流互鉴夯实学理根基，为解决现代世界问题提供智慧启示，为促进人类发展进步注入思想动能，践行全球文明倡议，推动构建人类命运共同体。

首届世界古典学大会于2024年11月在北京举行，主题为“古典文明与现代世界”，习近平向大会致贺信。来自30多个国家和地区的485位专家学者与会，围绕古典文明相关议题进行深入探讨。大会吸引了社会各界的关注，提高了公众对古典学的认知度和重视程度。

世界古典学大会在推动全球古典学研究、促进文化交流与教育发展等方面发挥着重要作用，为传承和弘扬人类古典文明的精华作出了积极贡献。

World Conference of Classics

This is an important academic event in the global field of classical studies. Its goal is to promote the study of global classics, encourage cultural exchanges, upgrade approaches to education, and contribute to the conservation and development of knowledge gained from classical civilizations.

By tracing the origins of human thought and reviewing human history, wisdom, and traditions based on the study of classics, the conference aims to provide academic support for contemporary dialogue among civilizations, offer insight for tackling the problems of the modern world, and provide new ideas that will drive human progress. This will also help implement the GCI and build a community with a shared future for humanity.

The inaugural World Conference of Classics was held in Beijing in November 2024, under the theme of "Classical Civilizations and the Modern World". Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the conference. A total of 485 scholars from more than 30 countries and regions discussed the topic of classical civilizations. The event also attracted widespread attention and raised public awareness and recognition of this field of study.
