构建人类命运共同体
人类只有一个地球，各国共处一个世界。面对共同挑战，任何人任何国家都无法独善其身，人类只有和衷共济、和合共生这一条出路。2013年3月，习近平在访问俄罗斯期间首次向世界提出“命运共同体”理念。此后，他在不同场合对构建人类命运共同体理念进行了系统阐述，对“建设一个什么样的世界、如何建设这个世界”给出了中国方案。
构建人类命运共同体，就是以建设持久和平、普遍安全、共同繁荣、开放包容、清洁美丽的世界为努力目标，以推动共商共建共享的全球治理为实现路径，以践行全人类共同价值为普遍遵循，以推动构建新型国际关系为基本支撑，以落实全球发展倡议、全球安全倡议、全球文明倡议、全球治理倡议为战略引领，以高质量共建“一带一路”为实践平台，推动各国携手应对挑战、实现共同繁荣，推动世界走向和平、安全、繁荣、进步的光明前景。
新时代以来，构建人类命运共同体理念从中国倡议扩大为国际共识，从美好愿景转化为丰富实践，从理念主张发展为科学体系，不仅推动构建国家之间和地区层面的命运共同体，而且涵盖网络空间、核安全、海洋、卫生健康等各领域共同体。这一倡议已载入中国宪法和《中国共产党章程》，并被多次写入联合国、上海合作组织等多边机制重要文件，深刻影响着中国和世界的发展。
Building a community with a shared future for humanity
Humanity shares one earth, and all countries share the same world. Facing the same challenges, no individual and no country can be a bystander. Working together for harmonious coexistence is the only solution.
During his visit to Russia in March 2013, Xi Jinping for the first time talked about the idea of humanity as "one community with a shared future". He has elaborated on this idea on many occasions since then and offered China's vision on what kind of world to build and how to build it.
To build a community with a shared future for humanity is to build an open, inclusive, clean, and beautiful world of lasting peace, universal security, and common prosperity. To achieve this, countries should promote global governance featuring extensive consultation and joint contribution for shared benefit, uphold the common values of humanity, promote a new type of international relations, work to implement the four global initiatives – the GDI, the GSI, the GCI, and the Global Governance Initiative, and increase cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
Over the past decade, the idea of building a community with a shared future for humanity has evolved from a Chinese proposal into an international consensus, from a promising vision into tangible actions, and from a new concept into a structured process. More communities of similar nature are proliferating among different countries and regions and in such domains as cyberspace, nuclear security, ocean management, and health.
The idea has now been written into China's Constitution and the constitution of the CPC and into the documents of the United Nations (UN), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and other multilateral mechanisms. It is exercising increasing influence on China and the rest of the world.
